to the RAF Halton Learning Centre |
LOCATION
Situated to the left of Bonham Carter Road on the opposite side to the Guardroom, the Learning Centre occupies the top floor of Building 402. It is conveniently situated above the Hive and coffee shop.

FACILITIES
Information Room

Contains information on local colleges and adult education centres, the Open University, Forces Correspondence and Short University Courses.

The Library, which is situated within the information room has a range of fiction and non-fiction books and language tapes.

A quiet area with comfy chairs, where you can sit and study or browse through our literature.

Fax and photocopying facilities for educational and resettlement purposes.

Two Internet terminals (half hour slots can be booked in advance through the REC).

Resettlement information (resettlement library books on various subjects ranging from choosing careers to CV writing are available on loan. We also hold information on resettlement training companies).
The Local Interactive Learning Centre ('The Mousehole')
If you have had enough of your computer programmes and need a course of instruction, the LILC can help! The LILC houses 13 computers for students use. Our courses are interactive, aimed at all levels, and all are FREE! Courses currently available include:

Classroom/Meeting Room
The Classroom/Meeting Room is fully equipped with new AVTE and whiteboards, a conference table to seat 12, and a room for students to take examinations. To book the room contact the REC, preferable 1 month in advance.
