Welcome to the RAF Odiham Learning Centre

The Learning Centre at RAF Odiham is located within the Education Centre, Building 107 it offers a wide range of multimedia training courses that use the latest computer technology. The training courses are very easy to use and are designed to be enjoyable and allow you to study at your own pace.

The basic courses cover WORD PROCESSING, SPREADSHEETS, PRESENTATIONS, AND DATABASE applications. Specialised course are also available that cover Learning Difficulties and Basic Skills. A further addition to our training is Soft Skills Learning. The Soft Skills Learning courses contain training in, Time Management, Effective Meetings, Equal Opportunities, Recruitment and Staff Appraisal. This will be of benefit to all station personnel and Service Leavers.

The centre can also provide facilities for you to teach yourself a Foreign Language. CD's complete with headphone and microphone is now available for use either in the centre or on loan. Languages currently on offer in basic level, intermediate level and advanced level include French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

In order to keep pace with the changing market in Information Technology,
Negotiations are currently being made to bring computer based self study training that will enable centre users to prepare for various Microsoft Certification examinations.

The Centre offers impartial advice, guidance and promotional literature on all aspects of education and training, from general enquiries to more individual assistance. Personal interviews can be arranged with the Personal Learning Advisor to discuss individual's exact requirements.
