to the RAF Shawbury Learning Centre |
The Learning Centre at RAF Shawbury is situated above the Aries Club. The NAAFI, Coffee Shop, Hive, crèche& hairdresser are all on our doorstep so there is no excuse for not calling in!
This fully refurbished Learning Centre offers excellent facilities to the Station & its personnel. We have 2 classrooms with all the up-to-date equipment required for professional teaching delivery. Examinations will also be conducted here.
In the IT Training Suite we offer a wide range of courses covering basic to advanced level, most of which are free to Service & civilian personnel. There is a quiet study room & access to 2 Internet terminals. We even have 2 daily newspapers and several magazines (including the Economist) for reference purposes.
All sorts of information is held in the Learning Centre covering everything from Basis Skills to Open University, Learndirect to resettlement. We're here to help & offer guidance in many areas of personal development & training needs.
